Whenever I need to unwind or need some background noise, I tend to throw on a series. There is something comforting in hearing some of these actor's voices, portraying some of my favorite characters... it gives me peace and sometimes helps me concentrate. Here are 10 Series that I can watch over and over again, till the end of time:

1. The Office

I will forever be a fan of Michael Scott. This is probably my number 1 series to quote. Hands down, the best one liners there is. More often then not, my friends at the office put me to sleep at night.

2. Yellowstone

I came across this show by accident probably about a year after it came out. I've had a crush on Kevin Costner for 30 years... he was always meant to play a Cowboy land owner and father to 3 royal screwups. Love the characters and story line of this series.

3. Game of Thrones

A guilty pleasure... I LOVED the books so naturally, I was very curious about the series. They did a phenomenal job portraying both loved and hated characters... A+ to the casting crew! Obviously this being an HBO series, lots of fast forwarding through spicey scenes is needed.

4. Peaky Blinders

Who knew I would be a big fan of gypsy gang boss from the 20ies?! I really wish we could bring back a 3 pieces suit with trench coat... so nice to look at.

5. Friends

Most of this series is a reminder of where I was or who I watched it with when the series first started airing in the 90ies. We would watch it as a family (still shocked my parents let us!). It was a big treat when streaming services came out and I could watch it again (even though me little sister had all the series on DVD). Seeing it again as an adult put LOTS into perspective and made it even funnier since the jokes didn't completely go over my head like it did as a teen.

6. Harry Potter

This series has my heart. I LOVED Loved LOVED these books. I was so hesitant to see the movies because I didn't want Hollywood to portray these characters differently then how J.K. Rowling and my imagination described them... I was beyond thrilled with the films! They did a beautiful job of portraying this series that I love so much.

7. Seinfeld

Seinfeld was very popular when I was in Junior High. ALL my friends loved it and I thought it was boring and over rated. I really didn't start watching it until a couple of years ago. Needless to say it's hilarious and I just think the comedy was a little too sophisticated for my junior high brain.

8. Lord of the Rings

Another series I read and loved. I saw all of these films in the theatre multiple times. A favorite character, story and adventure. Love me some Hobbits!

9. Parks and Recreation

This series was a surprise to me. I DID NOT want to watch it. But my sisters kept talking about it. So i reluctantly gave it a spin... instant fan.

10. Gilmore Girls

I never watched this as a kid. The first time I saw it was after my divorce. The Gilmore Girls helped me get through a trying time. It was fun and light hearted, all that I needed during that time.
